Firts, I want to say how much I LOVE Batik from Indonesia. Last
holiday, I went to Solo with my big family. It was the most fantastic holiday I ever had.
One of my fabulous journeys was at the "House of Danar Hadi”. There are so many kinds of
Batik! From Batik Kraton, Batik Cina, Batik Belanda, and the many others. If you are
interested with Batik, you should go there!! But I don’t have the picture from
there because it was prohibited to take a photos in the museum.
And then the next day, I went to Kampung Batik Laweyan. I saw the step by step in how to make a Batik. Actually, then I learnt that making a Batik it’s not easy. Many materials and processes are used and it took a long time to make. The materials includes plain fabric, pencil, molten
wax, natural dyes, canting, stamp
from copper, and the other things. Now I will show you how to make a Batik
stamp. But I just have two photos to share.
